Since 1967, first-year M.Arch students have designed and built buildings in underprivileged neighborhoods in New Haven (and sometimes further afield). This proposal for a dwelling at 196 Winthrop highlights the lush midblock space shared among neighbors. The design was selected for further development in the subsequent group phase of the Building Project.
